GIS mapping software is utilized to create accurate digital site plans and digital hydraulic models for watershed modeling and stormwater drainage analysis. An aerial drone and a laser scanner are used to provide accurate as-built drawings. Multi-jurisdictional permitting has become much more complex in the last five years due to experienced personnel being replaced by junior staff, the onset of electronic drawing submissions and reviews with limited access to the plan reviewers. The onset of Covid 19 further exacerbated communications with plan reviewers working remotely from home. Our extensive background in coordinating these multi-jurisdictional permits allows us to create a positive record of timely receipt of final approval to commence construction.
DECENTRALIZED TEAM
Since its inception, our firm has operated on a decentralized basis with each individual operating from home offices and the head office in Naples. Video conferencing was embraced when Skype was released and therefore Covid 19 has had no impact on our business model nor our volume of business. The decentralized model also reduces travel time and expenses as project managers are selected based upon their proximity to each project site.
