In 2020 this new group was formed to provide Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation services for one of our major Clients – Highland Tank, related to enhancing the performance of two of the many products that they produce, namely Thermal Energy Storage Tanks (TES) used to provide emergency cooling protection for Data Centers and for electric peak shaving for large facility HVAC systems and Chlorine Contact Tanks (CCT) used for drinking water disinfection. Until recently, these systems were designed by empirical methods, but due to the recently available software which runs on high-speed desktop computers, these designs are performed on a scientific basis rather than a theoretical basis.
Innovative Solutions team has developed two new services for our clients. The first service is our Infrastructure Maintenance Program (IMP) which is designed for process facilities and bulk liquid storage. This interface program allows users to quickly access necessary data for complex process systems. Information is readily available on all Windows devices, including tablets. Maintenance staff can easily access the maintenance history, parts availability, and maintenance procedures electronically on their tablet while in the plant or facility. This replaces the need for hard copy manuals which require constant updating. As the older facility maintenance staff retires from an operation, their years of experience normally leave with them. Our team can program this experience factor into the software before the maintenance personnel retires. This service is being launched in 2021.
The second service called “Smart Plan” offers our Clients digital access to a complete drawing package of any infrastructure system or facility via a program developed by our team. This easy-to-use graphic program provides access to record drawings, permits, construction inspection sheets, and much more. Each project is customized to fit your needs and comes with the install program (Free). There are no annual software fees or additional monthly fees associated with this service.
